We are delighted to announce the successful completion of our 28-day volunteering activity in North Macedonia, carried out within the scope of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Volunteering Project No. 2024-2-TR01-ESC51-VTJ-000291047, supported by the Turkish National Agency and coordinated by our association as the applicant organisation.

As part of the project, a total of seven volunteers, including three visually impaired volunteers and their accompanying persons, participated in various volunteering activities in North Macedonia for 28 days. By supporting the equal and active participation of young people with different needs in international mobility opportunities, this experience became an important practical reflection of the inclusive approach that our association has long embraced.

Throughout the 28-day mobility period, our volunteers gained valuable experience of living and volunteering in another country while developing their skills in intercultural learning, solidarity, teamwork, communication, and social participation. The active participation of our visually impaired volunteers alongside their accompanying persons in an international volunteering activity made the inclusive dimension of the project even more meaningful.

During their 28 days in North Macedonia, our volunteers had the opportunity to meet new people and cultures, take responsibility in a different social environment, work and create together, and experience solidarity at an international level. We believe that the knowledge, experiences, and skills they gained will contribute not only to their personal development but also to the communities of which they are a part.

We are very happy to have successfully completed this inclusive mobility experience, which we had envisioned for a long time. We would like to thank all our volunteers, accompanying persons, and supporters who contributed to making this journey possible.
