International Youth Quest Association (UGARD) carries out activities with the aim of creating a society in which individuals who are socially and economically at risk, such as women, children, refugees, persons with disabilities, and the elderly, participate equally and effectively in every level of social life in line with human rights.
Who Are We?
International Youth Quest Association (UGARD) was established with the aim of creating a society in which individuals who are socially and economically at risk, such as women, children, refugees, persons with disabilities, and the elderly, participate equally and effectively in every level of social life in accordance with human rights. In this regard, it works to ensure that laws, the constitution, and international conventions are effectively implemented in Türkiye and encourages young people to take responsibility in these areas.
What Are Our Objectives?
- To carry out rights-based activities for the acquisition, protection, exercise, and development of the rights of children, young people, refugees, women, the elderly, persons with disabilities, and other disadvantaged groups at risk,
- To increase young people’s awareness of taking responsibility in the field of human rights and to strengthen youth participation in civil society,
- To make visible the discrimination issues faced by disadvantaged groups in areas such as education, health, social security, employment, travel, and transportation, and to cooperate for solutions.
